Auburn Regional Growth Center Access Improvements The major items of work include the reconstruction of pavement and sidewalks, installation of approximately 830 feet of storm drainage pipe, 175 feet of sewer pipe, 70 feet of water pipe, and replacement or modification of three traffic signals on Auburn Avenue and 4th Street NE between 3rd Street NE and Auburn Way N. The proposed bid range for the project is from $3,500,000 to $4,000,000. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 135 working days. The project is funded with a Sound Transit Grant, a State Transportation Improvement Board grant, and City of Auburn monies. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn.
