Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Auburn, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of June 10 , 2025, the project was awarded to Miles Resources LLC , with an awarded amount of $1,041,627.** The major items of work include grinding and overlaying A Street SE from 37th Street SE to north of the Lakeland Hills intersection, upgrade curb ramps to meet ADA requirements, upgrade pedestrian push buttons, and install vehicle detection at Lakeland Hills Way intersection. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 100 working days. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements on this project are 15% certified DBE. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities and to accept any bid if such action is believed to be for the best interest of the City of Auburn. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The proposed bid range for the project is from $1,500,000 to $1,750,000.
