The purpose of this project is to install a metering enclosure (ME) supplied by Fermilab which will be connected to a power panel (PP), and an existing gas meter. This will allow for remote data collection and reporting of natural gas usage at the sites specified within the drawings. Conduit bringing 120VAC power cable will supply each ME from the respective PP Conduit from the ME will terminate at the natural gas meter, with power cable and signal cable pulled connecting the two. Existing networking at each site will be connected to the ME. A subcontract will be awarded to that responsible offeror whose proposal represents the best value after evaluation in accordance with the factors in this solicitation. This is a best value source selection. Award shall be made to contractors who are deemed responsible; whose proposal conforms to the solicitation's requirements and is judged to represent best value to FRA. The best value will be determined by the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Proposal. FRA intends to award without discussions. CST or prior to participate in the site visit due to Covid regulations. This site visit shall include a presentation of the elements in this RFP and a walk through of the entire route described herein.
