Robinson Township is soliciting sealed Bids from Solid Waste Collection, Removal and Disposal contractors that possess the necessary resources to provide the services required in the attached Specifications. The work will consist of the furnishing of all labor, equipment and material for the Collection, Removal and Disposal of the distinct types of Solid Waste from the identified locations in the Township as more particularly described in the attached Specifications. It is the intent of the Township to accept a Bid and award the Contract for Solid Waste Collection, Removal and Disposal services, Recycling Collection, Removal and Marketing services, and Leaf Waste and Yard Waste Collection and Composting services to one Contractor who meets all the Specifications, qualifies, and is the lowest responsible Bidder. Notwithstanding this intent, the Township reserves the right to accept its own Bid and make a Contract Award, based on the Bid prices submitted and the services needed, that is deemed to be in its best interest, to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Contingent upon the needs of the Township, the Contract award may be a) for Garbage and Refuse Collection, Removal and Disposal services only, or b) for Garbage and Refuse Collection, Removal and Disposal services, and/or Recyclables Collection, Removal and Marketing services and/or Leaf Waste and Yard Waste Collection, Removal and Composting services. The Township will not, however, award a Contract that does not include Garbage and Refuse Collection, Removal and Disposal services. Questions Due Date: Jul 22nd 2024, 10:30 AM EDT The proposal shall be submitted for a thirty-six (36) month contract for the calendar years 2025 through 2027. The proposal shall also be submitted for three, 12-month options for each of calendar years 2028, 2029, and 2030. The Township, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to exercise any, all, or no options. Both parties will accept each option no less than ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of the current contract.
