Question Deadline 07/15/2024 at 10:00 PM CT Over view: This project will consist of Statewide Rest Area Changing Station Retrofit for the following 5 locations Elkhart Northbound; Dows Southbound; Grinnell Eastbound; Underwood Eastbound and Wilton Eastbound. These locations are not tied, vendors are able to bid certain lines or all lines if they choose to do so. The estimated project period to begin August 1, 2024 DOT Final completion date: May 31, 2025 Licensed, bonded and Insured General Contractor. Inspection done by Schneider and DNR. Davis Bacon Wages do not apply to this project. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. Communication: Until a contract is awarded the sole point of contact for the solicitation is the Purchasing Agent identified in the solicitation.
