**As of September 30, 2024 , This project has been awarded to Summit Construction & Development, LLC for $6,130,276.73..** The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: Construction consists of but not limited to grading, curb & gutter, concrete sidewalks, extension of concrete culverts, base and paving, and striping. The project limits (PH III) are approximately from just north of Ronnel Road to Town Walk Drive. The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 540 consecutive days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued in September or October 2024. Nonrefundable liquidated damages in the amount of $1500 per calendar day will be deducted from monies due the Contractor in the event that a portion of the work remains incomplete beyond the agreed upon contract completion date. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount and a payment bond for 100% of the contract amount, with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth in the Agreement. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the day of the Bid opening, but OWNER may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date. Construction is anticipated to start Fall 2024 with a 540 day calendar day duration. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and re-advertise.
