This project includes the construction of the Downtown Van Buren drainage improvements as shown on the Plans. The Work of this Contract is located along the 200 to 400 block of Main Street in Downtown Van Buren Arkansas and along Washington Street. SCOPE OF WORK The Work of this Contract is located along the 200 to 400 block of Main Street in Downtown Van Buren Arkansas and along Washington Street. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required and construct the Van Buren Flood Control - Storm Water Management project in its entirety as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. C. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Construction of drainage system improvements SCOPE OF WORK A. STREETSCAPE LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL Electrical General Provisions SECTION 16000 1. The Contractor shall supply and install new raceways and conductors beneath the proposed streetscape concrete construction. The Contractor shall supply and install new concrete electric handholes as shown on the Drawings to connect new raceways. The Engineer acknowledges that issues may arise that require a change in project scope and price based on uncovered conditions. B. The scope of the work consists of the furnishing and installing of complete electrical systems. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, machinery, and any and all other items necessary to complete the systems. The Contractor shall note that all items of equipment are specified in the singular; however, the Contractor shall provide and install the number of items of equipment as indicated on the drawings and as required for complete systems. C. It is the intention of the Specifications and Drawings to call for finished work, tested, and ready for operation. D. Any apparatus, appliance, material or work not shown on drawings but mentioned in the specifications, or vice versa, or any incidental accessories necessary to make the work complete and perfect in all respects and ready for operation, even if not particularly specified, shall be furnished, delivered and installed by the Contractor without additional expense to the Owner. E. Minor details not usually shown or specified, but necessary for proper installation and operation, shall be included in the Contractors estimate, the same as if herein specified or shown. F. With submission of bid, the Contractor shall give written notice to the Engineer of any materials or apparatus believed inadequate or unsuitable, in violation of laws, ordinances, rules; any necessary items or work omitted. In the absence of such written notice, it is mutually agreed the Contractor has included the cost of all required items in his proposal, and that he will be responsible for the approved satisfactory functioning of the entire system without extra compensation. G. Provide all temporary power for construction. Coordinate requirements with other trades. H. Provide all electrical demolition work associated with abandonment or relocation of existing facilities, including disconnecting and removal of all conduit and cable to equipment being removed.
