Demolition, site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Owensboro, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The City of Owensboro reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids received, to take exception to these bid specifications, or to waive any informalities, to negotiate all terms and conditions, or to cancel or amend in part, or entirety, this bid Non-resident vendor providing services, delivering products via a private carrier (as defined below), or delivering products via vendor's employees must have a valid City of Owensboro business license. Non-resident vendor does not have to obtain a business license if delivery will be made by USPS or as a common carrier. Project consists of the demolition and new construction of Fire Station #3. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, Cashier's Check, or a Bid Bond duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the City, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid The Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond. Bond shall be furnished within ten (10) working days after receipt of award notification. The Contractor will be required to furnish a payment bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount to assure payment as required by any or all persons supplying labor and materials in the execution of the work provided herein.
