**As of September 16, 2024, project was awarded to Rogers Group, Inc. awarded amount is $920,311.87.** The City of Owensboro is seeking a Contractor to provide all labor, material, supervision, equipment, construction staking, and incidentals necessary to rehabilitate certain streets by removal of areas that indicate base failures and reconstruction of these failed areas, milling and texturing the existing street surface to remain in place and resurface the streets, all as directed by the City Engineer. Final completion for the Base Bid Items 1 through 23 shall be on or before Friday, November 15, 2024 Every request for such interpretation, clarification, or additional information should be in writing addressed to Kalyn Fox, Purchasing Agent, at City Hall (101 E. 4th Street, Owensboro, KY 42303) or emailed to bids@owensboro.org, and to be given consideration, must be received by 10AM CDT, Friday, July 12th, 2024. The Contractor shall be pre-qualified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to do the work as described in these bid documents and the contract documents. The Bidder agrees to pay, as liquidated damages, the sum of Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($750) Each bid must be accompanied by cash, Cashiers Check, or a Bid Bond duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the City, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond. The Contractor will be required to furnish a payment bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount to assure payment. The City of Owensboro reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in said bids.
