Rural Health programmed space consists of 24 exam rooms, two procedure rooms, 10 provider offices, and support space. Behavioral Health is planned to occupy approximately 7,000 SF of second floor space with a secondary entrance from the east of the addition with a new elevator, 16 therapist offices, crisis waiting, and support space. The balance of second floor will be shelled space. Parking will be modified to increase additional parking spaces to the south and east of the addition. Much of the exterior and interior material palette will be a similar palette used on the newly renovated emergency department. The proposed scope also includes the design and coordination of Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines. The addition will be Construction Type V, B Occupancy, fully sprinklered. Additional scope includes renovation of approximately 1,800 SF of Med Surg to provide private showers for six existing patient rooms including extension of the nurse station. The Specialty Clinic is also undergoing a slight renovation of approximately 1,500 SF of Cardiac Rehab space adding three new exam rooms and updating registration.
