As of September 13, 2024 this project was awarded to Dean’s Landscaping & Excavating with the awarded amount of $537,437.50. The approximate quantities of the major items of Work are: 2,000 SYD Remove Pavement, Full Depth 1,300 SF 4-inch and 6-inch Concrete Sidewalk and Driveway 2,350 SYD Lawn Restoration 740 &&& 725 FT Water Main, 8-inch, DI CL 52 500 FT Sanitary Sewer, 8-inch, PVC D2680 Bidder agrees that the Ash Street Work will be substantially complete on or before June 27, 2025 and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before July 18, 2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarification considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding The Project will be financed with local funds and the Contract Documents reflect requirements by that agency. Bidding Documents are being issued from Fishbeck's Grand Rapids office. Bidders should direct question correspondence to that office. Bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders must be submitted with each Bid. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. This time period may be extended by mutual agreement of the Owner and any Bidder or Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all Bids. A prebid conference will not be held.
