he City of Groton, Parks & Recreation Department, has identified seven (7) trees for removal and seventeen (17) for pruning at Washington Park, 155 Meridian Street, Groton, Connecticut. All limbs and trunks 5" in diameter and greater are to be cut into approximately 5' lengths. All limbs under 5" in diameter and brush is to be chipped (The City will provide an area to dump the chips). The stumps of all trees removed are to be ground. All trees are labeled/marked with numbers. The contractor will be responsible to clean the area and return to preexisting condition.
