PUMP STATION #6 FORCE MAIN ISOLATION & BY- PASS PIPING UPGRADES PROJECT #06-24 This project is to modify the internal force main header to include valves to isolate the pump station from the force main, provide valves/piping to accommodate temporary bybass pumps and replace several existing piping components with new. Nominal piping size ranges from 6 to 14 and will mostly be flanged joints. Majority of the work will take place inside the dry well of the pump station, except for a line stop and concrete walkway installation that will be done outside the station. Part of the inside work will take place in the wet well area which is a permitted confined space. The project will include but not be limited to procurement of all components/materials, pipe fabrication, pipe support fabrications, concrete core drilling, line stop, concrete sidewalk, selective demolition, piping/valve installation and pipe painting work. The project is located on the corner of River and Water Streets in Forty Fort, PA. All labor, tools, equipment and materials for the project shall be provided by the contractor unless specified to be supplied by WVSA. Temporary hauling of wastewater will be handled by WVSA.
