Calcasieu Parish School Board (CPSB) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to enhance our Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity services. This Request for Proposal (RFP) outlines the requirements for upgrading our current network infrastructure to support Calcasieu Parish School Board's mission of providing excellent educational services through technology. We are considering proposals that can best provide Fiberoptic (Fiber WAN) connectivity solutions in the most efficient and cost-effective approach for a 3-year, 5-year or 10-year period. Scope This project seeks to upgrade CPSB's existing WAN infrastructure by implementing a wide-area fiber network, connecting our remote locations directly to our data center. The primary objective is to significantly enhance network resilience, throughput, and prepare for future improvements. We are seeking proposals that concentrate solely on wide-area fiber options, and outlining the necessary equipment and services required to fulfill our connectivity objectives. The acceptance of a Quote, Bid, Proposal, or Offer; a Purchase Order, Contract Agreement, or other formal notification of award issued by an authorized official of CPSB. The term 'contract award' refers to the process of formally notifying the Vendor they have been selected as the supplier for a particular contract. The length of time a Contract will be available for use by CPSB. Voluntary extensions may be available as an option to extend the contract term. Individual annual extensions may be combined in the same year if a lower price is offered to exercise multiple extensions at one time. All contracts will begin on July 1 and end on June 30 unless stated in the Request for Proposals. CPSB may revise the length of the Agreement before an award.
