Site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Sandy, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
As of August 19,2024, project was awarded to Cross Perez Company LLC, ROTH LANDSCAPE SERVICES and WESTERN SUN LANDCAPE LLC but awarded amount is not available. The Building and Safety Department has the responsibility to contract with a vendor to clean, clear or secure property when it has been found to be unsafe, unhealthy, or hazardous to those around it. Each piece of property will be dealt with on an individual basis after the property owner has been properly notified but has not complied with the Notice & Order to Correct by the due date. The City will then contact the vendor to schedule and secure a date when the work shall begin. The vendor(s) selected must be flexible and able to complete the assigned work within five (5) work days of being notified (unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties). It will the responsibility of the vendor to obtain any and all licenses, permits and pay fees required to complete the works as described below. The vendor is required to contact the City the day before the work begins to verify and receive approval to proceed. If ownership has recently changed the City reserves the right to postpone the job assignment and re-notice the new owner.
