Site work and paving for a road / highway in Superior, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Village of Superior, Douglas County, WI is accepting sealed bids for: 1) Hughitt Avenue from N 76th Street to N. 79th Street, app. 22,1110 SF; Local Road Improvement Project. (LRIP) 2) Installing contractor shall provide all road barricades and safety signage as required by law. 3) The Village of Superior requires a copy of the design mix to be sub- mitted with each bid proposal. All asphaltic concrete must meet the standards of Section 407, "Asphaltic Concrete Pavement", written in the Wisconsin DOT Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, 2015 edition and also must keep the percentages of oil content of Grade 2 (5.0% min. oil content) design mix MV2. 4) Work to include Pulverize and re- lay the existing asphalt surface. Fine grade and compact gravel base and prepare area for paving. Place a 4" (average compacted thickness) 5) The bid is to be quoted using hot mix asphalt made from an approved WISDOT E-1 mix design PG58-28 (WISDOT Spec. 465). Finally, place a 2' gravel shoulder. 6) Project must be completed prior to October 31, 2024 For further information about the project contact Linnea Breezee, Village Clerk/Treasurer at 715-392- 8551 . The Village of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
