Site work and paving for a civil project in Superior, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Superior, Wisconsin is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Billings Drive Project. Work under this contract shall consist of excavating existing material from and widening the shoulders on both sides of Billings Drive for approximately 643 feet. Marsh excavation is anticipated. The work also consists of the removal of an existing 36-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) and the installation of 64 lineal feet of 42-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP). Pipe is provided by others. Work also includes approximately 1270 tons of Base Aggregate Dense, 130 tons of Select Crushed Material, and 750 Cubic Yards of Select Borrow. This project is to be completed by October 1, 2024. The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests.
