As of October 2, 2024 this project was awarded to Chippewa Concrete Services in the amount of $1,009,079.25 The City of Superior, Wisconsin is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the 2024 Tower Avenue Concrete Repair Project. Work under this contract shall consist of saw cutting, removing, and replacing approximately 7,400 square yards of concrete pavement, 320 linear feet of Type D curb, and 2000 square feet of sidewalk on Tower Avenue (WI-35). The work may also consist of traffic control and the removal/addition of road base materials to ensure complete compaction in replacement locations. Installation must follow online SDD 13C9 for Concrete Repair and Replacement. This project is to be completed by November 1, 2024. All bids must be prepared on the form provided and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidder. The contractor shall submit a list of its subcontractors as a part of its proposal, which list shall not be added to or altered without the written consent of the City of Superior, and as specified in 66.0901 Wisconsin Statutes.
