Site work for a water / sewer project in Crichton, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contract #3 - Crichton Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Removal and replacement of approximately 17,800 LF of gravity sewer mains, 52 manholes, and all other necessary appurtenances, spray lining of an additional 48 existing manholes, and all other work necessary for the rehabilitation of wastewater collection infrastructure in the community of Crichton, WV. Question Deadline 08/06/2024 Crichton Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation 270 / 300 The Work will be substantially completed and ready for final payment after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as listed above. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day for each contract. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Greenbrier Public Service District #2 in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Nondiscrimination in Employment - Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246 and the provisions of Executive Order No. 10925 as included therein. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. Notice of Federal Wage Requirements - Contractors are required to comply with all laws pertaining to federal wage rates as issued in accordance with the Davis Bacon act. The contractor will be required to pay the federal wage rates appropriate for each worker classification.
