Renovation of an educational facility in Dunbar, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project involves the removal of an existing ballasted roof and installation of a new EPDM roof system and insulation on Davis Fine Arts Building at West Virginia State University at Institute, West Virginia. Prime Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect and a Web site address will be emailed to them. Contractors shall access bidding documents and print copies at their own expense. A deposit is not required to access the Web site. Bond Notes: A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract award. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor's Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. An executed WV Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit must be included in the proposal. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
