The City of Dunbar WV will be soliciting bids for a storm water control project in the 1200 block of Ohio street, Dunbar WV. Scope of work for the project will include: 1. Installation of 4 drop inlets; three (3) along the south side of the street and one on the north side of the street near the middle of the block. Direction of flow is east to west. 2. Install and connect 12 N12 corrugated plastic pipe or equivalent to all drop inlets. Minimum grade is 1%. 3. All pipe and drop inlets shall be bedded in a minimum depth of 4 inches in 57 limestone. 4. Pipe will terminate into an existing drop inlet located at the southeast corner of 13th & Ohio Sts. 5. Install 6concrete road base over compacted 57 limestone to match existing concrete base while maintaining sufficient grade to move water to the inlet points. 6. Site map is available. Map points are subject to change due to in ground utility infrastructure. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary equipment and supplies. Coordinating with 811 Miss Utility for utility line locations prior to commencement of the project. Contractor must submit a current copy of their West Virginia Contractor License and General Liability Insurance with the bid. Minimum insurance liability of $1,000,000.00 is required All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with "1200 Ohio St Storm Water Project" written on the outside of the envelope.
