Center Street Project. Work will consist of removal of existing concrete curbing, bollards and lighting. Grading, erosion control, utility installation, stormwater construction, and new construction of streets, parking lots, sidewalks and landscaping. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project. A certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond shall accompany each bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid made payable to the Port Authority of Winona which shall be forfeited to the Port Authority of Winona in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract with the Port Authority. The contractor shall furnish the owner, within ten (10) days after the contract is awarded, a bond executed by a surety company approved by the owner in the full amount of the contract and conditioned as provided by the General Statutes of this State. The bond shall be executed by a surety company authorized to do business within the State of Minnesota and having a minimum A.M. best rating of B+. The term of the bond will be two (2) years from the date of final acceptance. The Port Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Est. All remaining work shall be substantially completed by June 1st, 2025. Description: This project consists of reconstruction of a portion of Center Street including some Watermain, Sanitary Sewer lateral installation, R.C.P. storm sewer, Underground Storm water Management System installation, bituminous pavement, concrete sidewalks and concrete curb and gutter.
