The work generally consists of relocation of several pipelines, replacement of two waste steam heat exchangers, and tube replacement in the two aeration turbine exhaust condensers. The estimated cost of construction is $2,000,000. Central San, at its discretion, may add additional construction activities after Award of the Construction Contract. All bidders and subcontractors to bidders must be registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the California Labor Code, subject to limited legal exceptions under California Labor Code Section 1771.1. Shutting down and dewatering the 20" 3W pipe and installing a new 20" valve, temporarily relocating 20" 3W pipe to allow for exhaust condenser work, and reinstalling 3W pipe in original location. 4.
