Generally comprised of sitework (selective demolition, grading, paving, etc.), construction of a pavilion structure, basketball court, pickleball courts, a stamped concrete patio, two parking areas and a walking path and incidental work Each bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount of 10% of the Bidders maximum Bid Price to be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder shall be expected to execute and file the proposed contract and to furnish and pay for Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bond and other Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price as security for the performance of the contract and payment of all costs thereof within 10 days after the award of the contract. If the Bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into the contract after given the award, the Bid Security deposited by him shall be used as liquidated damages by Dallas Borough. Dallas Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in any bid, for the best interests of the Borough. Bids may be held by Dallas Borough for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
