Renovation of an educational facility in Bartow, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is proudly the Construction Manager serving Polk County Schools and is soliciting proposals from prequalified subcontractors for the construction of Polk County Schools Bartow Elementary Academy Repairs. The project consists of structural repairs to an existing opening. The scope of work includes restoration to the brick and stucco finishes, masonry repairs, and electrical. The RFI deadline is July 24th, 2024. Please submit RFI's to westcoastflcommercial@whartonsmith.com. Do not contact the Architect or Owner for information on this project. M/WBE Subcontractors & Suppliers are encouraged to participate. The MBE/WBE goal for this project is 21%. Payment & Performance Bonds may be required. All bidding subcontractors shall adhere to having all onsite personnel registered with a valid JLA Badge, per Florida Statues 1012.32, 1012.465, 1012.467 & 1012.468. All costs for new employee badging & renewals will be the sole responsibility of the bidding subcontractor. 37.2.3 All invitations to bid and bid packages shall clearly state that bidders shall include all sales taxes in their bid.
