Site work for a golf course in California City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course.
The work to be done consists in general of but is not limited to demolition of existing backflow preventers, installation of reduced pressure backflow preventer, couplings, fitting, valves, testing and certification, any related mechanical equipment and features, and other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the typical sections, Standard Specifications or the special provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or installed. All work must be completed within thirty (30) working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Each bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidders security equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount: (1) cash; (2) a cashiers check made payable to the City of California City Technical questions should be directed to BHT Engineering, Inc., (Contact: Ramon H Pantoja, (661) 558-4641 or rpantoja@bhtengineering.com. The contractor shall possess a C-36 license at the time this contract is awarded. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. Any such inquiries or questions submitted after bid opening will not be treated as a bid protest.
