Site work for a water / sewer project in California City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
**As of January 27, 2026 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on the 2nd week of February 2026.** The project consists of upgrading the municipal water distribution system by installing approximately 850 linear feet of 8-inch water lines and 160 linear feet of 6-inch mains, along with gate valves, fire hydrants, and replacing existing water services and laterals. The existing water mains will be capped and left out of service. Contractors are responsible for trenching, backfilling, and making necessary pavement repairs in accordance with the plans, as well as completing all other work required by standard specifications or special provisions. Contractors must have a valid Class A or C-34 license at the time of contract award. Bids must be sealed, clearly labeled with the project name, and delivered by the specified deadline. The bidder is responsible for ensuring timely delivery. Additional compliance with all applicable state regulations concerning nondiscrimination and prevailing wage rates is required.
