Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Scope of Work Summary. The scope of work for this Project includes the furnishing and installing of concrete sidewalk slab repairs, removal and replacement of short sections of concrete sidewalk with or without monolithic curbing, short sections of concrete curbing and incidental related work as required or as directed. Project sites shall be in various locations around the City and multiple mobilizations and relocations will be required. Contractor to provide adequate signage, cones and other maintenance and protection of traffic measures as required. Contractor responsible for arranging for Uniformed Police Officer protection as required, which will be paid for directly by City. It is anticipated that the Successful Proposer shall reach Final Completion of all Work and Services required by this RFP on or before November 15, 2025. Question Deadline 07/26/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions, requests for clarification and communications about this RFP and submission requirements must be submitted through the City of Waterbury website electronically. Addenda responding to questions submitted by City of Waterbury website electronically by 2:00 PM on July 30, 2024. Any Proposal with a Total Price Proposal of over Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security (a Certified Check or Bid Bond) in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Proposer's Total Price Proposal. The Proposer to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond each with a surety company acceptable to the City and in a form acceptable to the City The City reserves the right to award in part, to reject any and all Proposals in whole or in part for misrepresentation or if the Proposer is in default of any prior City contract, or if the Proposal impermissibly limits or modifies any of the terms and conditions and/or specifications of the RFP. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions if, in its judgment, the best interest of the City will be served. It is the intent of the City for the Successful Proposer to furnish all labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary to execute and properly finish the Project, as detailed and described herein. The project consists of provision of handicapped sidewalk ramps, short sections of sidewalk (typically less than 100 linear), short sections of concrete curbing (typically less than 100 linear feet) and sidewalk panel repairs in various streets, locations and schools, on-call and as directed. Numerous mobilizations and relocations may be required. The quantity range utilized for pricing on the "Schedule E, must reflect the total quantity of square feet measured in each designated combined grouping assigned by the City. Noncontiguous road segments of ADA concrete ramp and sidewalk groupings are permitted and may be compiled on a single purchase order, provided each group is not outside the limits of a one (1) mile radius. Contiguous road segments of ADA concrete ramp and sidewalk groupings located within the limits of more than one (1) mile may be issued as a single purchase order. Scope of Work Summary.
