2024 Paving Project - Includes the Labor, Materials, and Equipment Necessary to Mill and Install Bituminous Binder and Wearing Courses Along Sections of Chestnut Street, Mccarrell Avenue, Allison Avenue, and Grove Avenue. City of Washington Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bid Proposals or Any Portion Thereof. Attention of Bidders is Called to the Requirements Concerning the Payment of Not Less Than the Prevailing Wage and Salary Rate Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the Projects. Awarded Bidder Shall Provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 15% Maintenance Bond for the Projects. Liquidated Damages Will Apply at the Rate of $500.00 Per Calendar Day. Bids May Be Held by City of Washington for a Period Not to Exceed Sixty (60) Days From the Date of Bid Opening for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of Bidders, Prior to Awarding the Contract. TIME FOR COMPLETION The work which the Contractor is required to perform under this Contract shall be commenced at the time stipulated by the Owner and shall be fully completed within sixty (60) calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
