sealed bids will be received for the FOREST COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER BOILER & HVAC UPGRADE PROJECT as follows: Sealed bids for the project designated above will be received for and in behalf of Forest County, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, at the location listed above, on or before the above mentioned time and date. The work of this contract includes the following: o Remove two existing boilers related pumps and piping serving Jail o Remove venting materials o Install three new boilers, pumps, accessories and related piping o Install new venting o Remove/install gas piping as required o Provide new controls and wiring o Install new mini split air conditioner in IT room o Install new mini split system in Pod area o Provide new controls and wiring o Remove existing air handler and condenser serving IT room and Pod area o Install new air handler and condenser o Modify sheet metal to fit new equipment To serve as redundant system to the new mini split systems listed above o Line voltage wiring by E.C o Patching, roofing, remove/replace ceiling tiles by G.C. All Contractors will also be required to complete and submit a Contractor Qualification Statement, a copy of which is included in the bidding documents. This requirement may be waived by the Owner for contractors who have previously completed work for the County. This statement is to be submitted no later than July 25,2024 to the County Clerk's office. This statement can be submitted by mail or email no later than 5:00 pm on this date. A 10% bid bond and 100% material and labor payment/ performance bond will be required for this work, unless waived by the Owner. All workers on the project will have to pass a background check before they are allowed on the premises.
