Madison County, Alabama is seeking bids for the drilling of test wells and pump capacity testing of wells for public water supply in Madison County. The contractor shall drill test wells and conduct pump tests as directed through written task orders for a period of two (2) years from contract award date. The total contract value for all task orders shall not exceed $450,000. Task Order 1 will be issued concurrently with the Notice to Proceed after contract award. Performance bond, payment bond, retainage, and requirements for final payment will be required for each task order. The work shall be performed according to the conditions, technical specification and drawings provided in this bid package. Questions should be directed to Vince Moody at vmoody@madisoncountyal.gov and Jennie Weatherly at jweatherly@madisoncountyal.gov. The amount of the cashier's check or Bid Bond shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the contractor's bid, but is not required to be in an amount more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000). The Madison County Commission reserves the right to award this bid on an all-or-none or item by item basis, to refuse all bids, and to waive technicalities. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted.
