The purpose of this request is to solicit unit price bids from qualified contractors for assembly, mobilization and installation of bus shelters with benches, solar panel and solar light kit, and trashcan receptacle at various locations for the City of Fayetteville (City). The City of Fayetteville shall provide the bus shelters, benches, solar panel with light kit, and trashcan receptacle. The concrete work shall be performed by others and is not a part of this contract. The intent of this contract is to establish an "oncall" contract with an installation time within ten (10) calendar daysfrom the request for work to be done. The initial contract will be awarded for one-year beginning on or about September 01, 2024 and will renewable for additional one-year periods (up to a maximum of three additional years) upon the agreement of all parties. Questions regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the attention of Kimberly Toon, Purchasing Manager,by e-mail to kimberlytoon@fayettevillenc.gov no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 12, 2024. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals; award contract in the best interest of the respective unit; and waive all informalities concerning bid. Proposals may be rejected if they show any omission, alteration of form, additions not called for, conditional bid, or any irregularities of any kind.
