The project is described as pulverizing and repaving a +-0.8mile portion of Sand Bay Road (from Sand Bay Lane to Riley's Bay Road/ Wood Lane Road) in the Town of Nasewaupee, Door County, WI. This project is partially funded by the WI DOT Local Roads Improvement Program In general, work consists of the following: Pulverization, reconstruction, re-pavement, and culvert installation on approximately 0.8 miles of Town road. The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond for the full amount of the Contract within 10 days of award or execution of the Contract.The Performance Bond shall contain a provision to increase the Performance Bond by the amount of any change orders that might increase the amount of the Contract price. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, the right to waive irregularities and informalities in bidding, the right to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional bids, and the right to accept the bid which best serves the interests of the Town.
