The project will construct a new grid street, 42nd Avenue W, from Alderwood Mall Boulevard to 196th Street SW, within the Lynnwood Regional Growth Center. The project includes approximately 1,400 feet of new infrastructure providing multiple travel lanes, sidewalks, bicycle facilities, curb, gutter, landscaping, hardscaping, illumination, traffic signals, retaining walls and utility improvements. Design for this project is part of a larger corridor under LYN-50. LYN-50A will fund Segment 1 (Alderwood Mall Boulevard to 196th Street SW) right-of-way and construction. Segment 2 (196th Street SW to 194th Street SW) right-of-way and construction will be included in a future project (LYN-50B).
