Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sterling, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Contractor shall perform the Work as set forth in the specifications entitled Random Crack Sealing - Polymer & Crumb Rubber Modified Asphalt Compound with Reinforcing Fibers attached hereto. All work done under this contract shall conform to the Massachusetts Highway Department 1988 Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges and the Supplemental Specifications dated February 25, 2010; The 2010 Construction Standard Details, The 1996 Construction and Traffic Standard Details (Traffic Standard Details only) 1990 Standard Drawings for Signs and Supports 2009 edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (M.U.T.C.D); all relevant amendments. The Bid work consists placing approximately 7,500 gallons of crack seal town wide. A list of the streets along with approximate lengths is included in the bid package. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.
