TOWN OF STERLING Request for Qualifications for Designer Services for A New Department of Public Works Facility The Town of Sterling (the "Town"), acting through its Town Administrator, seeks proposals from licensed architects and architectural firms with experience designing public buildings to provide design services for the construction of a new Department of Public Works (DPW) facility and garage, including space for offices, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and vehicle, equipment, and material storage (the "Project"). The initial scope of services will be limited to a site assessment (or fatal flaws analysis) of various parcels of land within the Town. The Town may, at the Town's option, expand the required services to include project permitting, preliminary and final design, the preparation of bid documents, and/or construction management services. The estimated construction cost for the Project, the estimated time for completion of the Project, and the program for the Project shall be determined in part by a previously completed needs survey and by the site evaluation process. The fee for designer services will be negotiated. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, wholly or in part, and make such award as it determines to be in the best interest of the Town. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
