The Town of Sterling (the Town), acting through its Town Administrator, seeks proposals from qualified firms for Owners project Manager (OPM) Services for the design, engineering, and construction of a new Department of Public Works (DPW) Facility located in Sterling. The facility is currently projected to be located behind 135 Leominster Road, at a town owned gravel pit. There is no estimated cost at this time, however it is projected this building could cost more than $20,000,000. The Town currently has $500,000 approved at Town meeting to advance through Schematic Design and retain an OPM. If future monies are approved, it is anticipated this project could be complete in 2028. An evaluation team appointed by the Town Administrator will review the Proposals and present ranked finalists to the Town Administrator for the award of a contract. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, wholly or in part, and make such award as it determines to be in the best interest of the Town
