Sealed Bids for the construction of "Pratts Junction Road Cold-In-Place Recycling" will be received by the Town of Sterling at the DPW office, 171 Worcester Road, Sterling, MA 01564 until 11:00 a.m. local time on May 15, 2025 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as "SEALED BID- Pratts Junction Road Cold-In-Place Recycling." The Bid work consists of structure adjustment, pre-milling and cold-in-place recycling on Pratts Junction Road. Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall perform the Work as set forth in the specifications attached hereto. All work done under this contract shall conform to the Massachusetts Highway Department • 2023 Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges and the Supplemental Specifications, • The 2010 Construction Standard Details, • The 1996 Construction and Traffic Standard Details (Traffic Standard Details only) • 1990 Standard Drawings for Signs and Supports • 2009 edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (M.U.T.C.D); all relevant amendments.
