The attached Standard Terms and Conditions shall govern this bid unless specifically modified in these bid documents. Conditions of bid that include the word "must" or "shall," describe a mandatory requirement. All specifications are defined as mandatory minimum requirements unless otherwise stated. If no bidder is able to comply with a given specification or condition of bid, the County reserves the right to delete that specification or condition of bid. Contractors may not submit their own contract document as a substitute for these terms and conditions. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities or to accept any bid which, in its judgement, will be in the best interest of the public. Should you receive an award, these Bid documents become your contract terms and conditions. 2.0 QUESTIONS If a contractor discovers any significant ambiguity, error, conflict, discrepancy or omission in this bid, the bidder shall notify the County of such error and request a modification or clarification. Any communications or questions regarding the specifications, or special conditions of bid should be written and submitted to the County at the earliest convenience. The County will respond to questions if deemed necessary by issuing the information to all potential bidders that have contacted the County. Estimated Project Construction Cost of Less than $500,000 to $9,999,999 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Scope- Remove existing barn style doors and leave in the buildings. Install Eight (8) metal commercial grade roll-up doors and Eight (8) hollow metal doors 3'-0" x 6'-8" with panic exit hardware. All roll-up doors will be installed in the existing openings with sizes as indicated on the plans. Doors must provide an airtight seal. All 3'-0" doors will be installed in the existing openings or cut-in to existing structure as indicated on plans. Doors must provide an airtight seal. All holes, gaps, etc. in metal siding shall be framed in with matching structural components and covered with matching metal siding. Any gaps left after the installation of the doors must be covered by siding or metal trim pieces. Where siding or trim cannot be matched to the existing structure, a siding and/or trim alternative or siding from the existing barn doors may be used but shall first be approved by County Staff.., Work must be complete prior to September 20, 2024.
