8th Avenue Sewer Extension: Phase I, Discovery Park Boulevard and 8th Avenue City Park NIB #PK2303 The City of Safford (City) hereby invites the submission of sealed Bids from properly licensed Contractors for the Sewer Extension of 8th Avenue, located within the City of Safford, AZ, beginning at the intersection of 8th Avenue and 26th Street, extending south along 8th Avenue for approximately 1,700 feet, then southwest for approximately 1,000 feet, terminating in Discovery Park Boulevard right-of-way. The Project is expected to take 120 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and includes the purchase and installation of 2,744 linear feet of 12" sewer pipe, 14-new manholes, ancillary sewer features, and replacement of existing asphalt, curb, and gutter. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to withhold the award for any reason the City determines. The City also reserves its right to hold any or all Bids for sixty (60) days after the Bid opening date and will not allow withdrawal of Bids during those sixty (60) days. All Bids must include a bid bond for 10% of the Bid amount, and all Bids must be plainly marked on the outermost packaging with " Attention: Sealed Bid - #PK2303," and shall indicate the company name and address of the Bidder and Bid closing date and time.
