A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Sedona is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ's) from interested and qualified consultants to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the design of the proposed Transit Maintenance and Operations Facility. The facility will be located in Yavapai County's Parcel Number 408-21-463A; address 7420 State Route 89A. This is a 40-acre parcel of which 7.5 acres is being apportioned to accommodate the entirety of the subject Facility. The City has recently completed studies regarding the selection of this site, including an environmental study to satisfy NEPA requirements for a Categorical Exclusion. All studies will be made available to all respondents to this RFQ. The development of the Transit Maintenance and Operations Facility will include additional study of the siting to position the development most advantageously within the available 40-acre parcel. Upon completed discussions with project stakeholders concerning final siting location, scoping, and phasing, the design phases will commence. The Project will require a Bus Maintenance Facility with four maintenance bays sufficient to accommodate 40' transit buses, separate steam rack, parts room, tire storage, operations administrative office, conference room, dispatch office, driver break room, training room, Equipment/Storage Facility, Fueling Station, Bus Wash Station, Bus Parking area, Employee Parking area and Access Road Improvements leading to the existing driveway for the City's existing Wastewater Treatment Facility fronting the ADOT Highway, State Route 89A.
