Nevada County Solid Waste Division is soliciting sealed Best Value Invitations for Bids (IFB) from Litter Abatement Companies to provide litter removal throughout Unincorporated Western Nevada County specifically along County Maintained Roads. The intent of this Solicitation is to solicit bids from qualified litter abatement companies or individuals who are interested in providing litter abatement services for Western Nevada County. The County intends to award one contract to support the Solid Waste Division for one (1) initial year with options to renew up to four (4) additional one-year terms. The County intends to provide a maximum annual contract amount of $ 50,000 (fifty thousand dollars). This Bid includes a description of the scope of work(s), Bid requirements, and instructions for submitting your Bid. Bidders shall submit all questions online via Public Purchase prior to 5:00pm, July 26, 2024. The County makes no assurances that questions received within five (5) calendar days of the bid opening date will be answered. The County reserves the right to take any action available if it discovers a failure to provide such information to the County, including but not limited to, a determination that the vendor should be declared non-responsible and/or non-responsive, and suspension or debarment of the vendor, in accordance with the processes defined in the Nevada County Purchasing Policy.
