Site work and paving for a civil project in Grass Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

The scope of work, in general, includes; Asphalt concrete removal, hot mis asphalt paving, and thermoplastic pavement marking and striping. Other related items not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, specifications or these Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or installed. The time of completion shall consist of 10 Working Days. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. Bid Bonds shall be required for this project. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond and certificates of liability and property damage insurance. The amounts of liability and property damage insurance will not be less than the amounts shown in the Contract and shall also include the endorsements specified. Bidders are urged to obtain DBE participation on this project, although there are no specific goals for DBE participation. or show good faith in attempting to obtain DBE subcontractors. The DBE contract goal for this project is 7% of the contract cost. The Contractor shall possess a valid California Class "A" Contractor's License, or a combination of the following classes: C12 - Earthwork and Paving Contractors, C31 - Construction Zone Traffic Control Contractor, and all other classes required by the categories and types of work included in the contract at the time of the bid award. All licenses shall remain in effect throughout the term of the contract.
