Site work for a water / sewer project in Fall River, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
***As of June 30, 2025, project was awarded to Cavanagh Marine Inc but awarded amount is not available. The work consists of furnishing all labor, material and equipment for the installation of a cathodic protection system to protect the underwater sections of the existing steel sheetpile bulkhead. The bid will also include 2 add alternates. An add alternate for additional work to include cleaning to remove marine growth and recoating the exposed interlock (8" strip) section of the steel sheetpile bulkhead with Denso Seashield 525 Epoxy (or approved equal) at location 2' above MLW to the top of the sheetpile. The second add alternate will be to apply Denso Seashield SZ Underwater Epoxy (or approved equal) in the splash zone as indicated on project drawings. All work shall be in accordance with project permits issued by the Fall River Conservation Commission, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the Army Corps of Engineers. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit equal to (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid deposit may be in the form of treasurers' check, certified check, bid bond, or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the Fall River Redevelopment Authority. Please note this advertisement is financed, in full, through a Federal grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under provisions of Economic Development Initiative (EDI). Debarment status applies.
