The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a term contract with a qualified contractor/ vendor to supply de-icing road salt through April 30, 2025 Potential Bidders shall direct all questions or inquiries in writing to Megan Clark at mclark@frontroyalva.com. Revisions to the solicitation are made only by addendum issued by the Purchasing Office. Approximately 2,500 tons of Sodium Chloride Bulk (Road Salt) for de-icing roads may be used for the FY24 winter season. Since we have no way of anticipating quantities that will be needed, the quoted price shall be for each delivered ton. The successful Bidder warrants that all goods provided shall conform with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Price shall include delivery to the Town of Front Royal Public Works at 800 Crosby Road Front Royal, VA 22630.
