Renovation of a museum in Fairmont, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Requesting bids for window restoration to their historic property in Fairmont, WV. The project includes: 1. The reglazing of approximately 48 broken window panes in historic steel windows 2. The repair/replacement of 8-10 existing historic steel windows The project completion date is no later than 30 November 2024 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. Partial funds for this project are through the WV State Historic Preservation Office. All applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations apply.
