Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Whitpain Township, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The contract involves the following: 1. Design, Permitting and Construction of a 18'x40' Pole Building with option 18'x20' clear span storage loft and an option for spray foam insulation. The following contract items are an Add Alternates to the base bid: Add to Base the Bid Scope the design and construction of a clear span 18'x20' storage loft, complete with foundations, steps, railings and sealed engineered plans for same. Add to the Base Bid Scope the installation of 1" of closed cell spray foam insulation to all interior walls and underside of roof panels including fire retardant coating. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Whitpain Township in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. Questions Due Date: Aug 5th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT Whitpain Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
