Jolly Road and Wentz Road Intersection Improvement Project For the Jolly Road and Wentz Road Intersection Improvement Project in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County, PA Project includes roadway widening and overlay, drainage, sidewalk and ADA curb ramps, pavement markings and signing, and traffic signal modification. All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The awarded bidder needs to furnish all payment, performance, and maintenance bonds as referenced in the bid documents. The Township reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid, or to reject any or all of the bids. The successful Bidder must comply with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. This Project is subject to Ordinance No. 394, Whitpain Township Responsible Contractor Ordinance (RCO), including pre-qualification requirements as specified in the Ordinance. The bidder shall complete the Responsible Contractor Certification Form provided, and shall submit the Form to the Township, to the attention of Eric Traub, Manager, via E-mail to etraub@whitpaintownship.org, no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the bid opening date, together with all documentation required by Section 4 of Ordinance 394, a copy of which is provided, in order to be pre-qualified before submitting a bid.
