Professional Engineering Services City of Waveland the City of Waveland Requests Statements of Qualifications From Professional Engineers to Provide Professional Engineering Services for the City of Wavelands (Gomesa) Funded Through Mdmr Center City Utility Improvements Project, Including but Not Limited to Engineering Design, Bid, Construction Phase, and Project Close-out Services for the Citys Gomesa Project. This Project is Funded by Ms. Department of Marine Resources Through Gomesa (Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act. Of 2006, Public Law 109-432). Selection Will Be Based Upon a Specific Review and Evaluation Process Conducted by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen and the Evaluation Criteria Will Be Based Upon Demonstrated Competence in the Following Areas: a) Qualifications and Familiarity of the Project 40 Points; B) Specialized Experience 15 Points; C) Technical Competence 20 Points; and D) Past Performance 25 Points. All Proposers Will Be Considered and Ranked to Determine the Most Highly Qualified Firm to Provide the Services Solicited. Interviews With Proposers May Be Held by the City of Waveland to Finalize the Selection of an Engineer(S). The City Will Enter Into Contract Negotiations With the Most Highly Qualified Firm to Determine Commercially Reasonable Terms and Conditions Based Upon a Clear Understanding of the Project Scope, Complexity, Professional Nature, and Estimated Value of Services to Be Rendered. If a Contract Cannot Be Negotiated With the Most Highly Ranked Proposer, Negotiations Will Continue With Engineering Firms in Order of Their Ranked Qualifications. Sealed Submissions of Qualifications Should Be Marked on the Outside of the Envelope Professional Engineering Services City of Waveland (Gomesa) Center City Utility Improvements Project and Must Include One Original and Six Copies. A Single Copy of the Submitting Firms Current Rate Schedule for Professional Services Should Also Be Included and Placed in a Separate Sealed Envelope Marked Current Rate Sheet. The City of Waveland Reserves the Right to Cancel This Rfq at Any Time Without Prior Notice, to Reject Any Submissions, and to Waive Any Informalities in the Rfq Process.
