Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waveland, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bid prices are invited for the furnishing of materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to place bituminous asphalt pavement at designated location on Old Spanish Trail, between Henderson Street and Nicholson Avenue (approximately 1,550 If) within the City of Waveland. The work will include but is not limited to the following items of work: performing base repairs, preparation of the surface to be paved (i.e., scraping road edges to expose the existing edge of pavement, applying tack coat, etc.), and milling of existing pavement surface, limited asphalt leveling and overlay of existing surface with 2" of asphalt pavement. Bids may be held by the City of Waveland, Mississippi, for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The City also reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Question Deadline 12/11/2024 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Covington Civil and Environmental, LLC at bob.escher@ccellc.us who is the engineer for this project, and to be given consideration must be received at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids
